The New WKF Mandatory Face Mask Unveiled

On July 29th 2008, the WKF unveiled its new mandatory face mask required for all Cadet category athletes to wear in all WKF sanctioned events including national championships. This rule will go into effect on January 1st, 2009.

These masks will become available through the WKF's approved equipment distributors like Sports Master (SMAI) www.smai.com.au While the mask itself will remain a constant, expect variations in design of the rest of the headgear from one manufacturer to the other.
